Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Email Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing email marketing campaigns to engage with our target audience, drive conversions, and improve customer retention. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop email content, analyze campaign performance, and optimize strategies to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Creation & Execution:
- Plan, design, and execute engaging email campaigns (promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails).
- Develop and maintain email templates, ensuring they are visually appealing, responsive, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of email campaigns, including segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
List Management & Segmentation:
- Maintain and segment email lists based on user behavior, demographics, and campaign requirements.
- Ensure list hygiene by regularly updating and cleaning databases.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.).
- Provide insights and recommendations based on email performance data.
- A/B test subject lines, content, CTAs, and designs to continuously optimize email performance.
Content Creation & Copywriting:
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create compelling email copy and visuals that resonate with the target audience.
- Write clear and persuasive email copy that aligns with overall marketing objectives.
Automation & Workflows:
- Develop and manage automated email workflows, including welcome sequences, re-engagement campaigns, and post-purchase follow-ups.
- Implement email marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot) to streamline campaign processes.
Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure email campaigns adhere to legal regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest email marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in email marketing or digital marketing.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, ActiveCampaign, etc.).
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
Technical Skills:
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization.
- Strong proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, email platform analytics, etc.).
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
Creative & Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write compelling and engaging email copy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread content.
Analytical Mindset
- Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to derive insights from campaign performance data and recommend actionable improvements.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with email marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content for email campaigns.
